B Well IPT is focused on the community and it's wellness.

Wellness can be many things - physical wellness, mental wellness, financial wellness, and many others. If it affects an individual's well being, we want to be a piece of the bridge to a better place.

Quarterly, B Well IPT will donate 10% of our sales to a cause that we feel could benefit from the assistance. We love working with our communties and learning about new opportunities to give back.

If you are reading this and you are part of, or are passionate about a particular charity, please feel to let us know.

This quarter our dontation supported:

The Vascular Birthmarks Foundation. We were at the Purple Polka Dot Race on August 10th at Stoney Creek Metropark along with Connect Fitness in Rochester, Michigan.

This was a 5/10k walk/run and family fun run to benefit the Vascular Anomalies Alliance (VAA) organized by Jody Lee and colleagues.

The VAA is an international charitable organization that networks families affected by vascular birthmarks, anomalies, and/or related syndromes (VBARS) to the appropriate medical professionals for evaluation and/or treatment, provides informational resources as well as sponsors physician education, mobilizes medical missions trips, and supports research and programs that promote acceptance for individuals with birthmarks.

B Well Integrated Physical Therapy's first community event - it was so much fun!

Rachel & I happy to be doing PT by the lake on a gorgeous Saturday ;-)

It was so nice to meet folks, not only from Michigan and metro Detroit but also from Ohio, New Jersey & Chicago. The Vascular Anomalies Alliance(VAA) is such a great cause to raise awareness, encourage acceptance, educate the community and support the many who, as Jody Lee so lovingly notes, "are sporting their very own “purple polka dots”.

Rachel & I were so fortunate to be able to provide basic advice and referrals as well as hands on assistance for those who participated in the event, one who sprained her ankle duing the event, and others afflicted with persistent pains that they've not been able to resolve.

Some folks were heading home to Ohio or Chicago but we were able to provide some gentle hands-on techniques including kinesiotaping and cupping (with patient consent, of course) along side some instructions and homework to hopefully provide some relief until they are able to connect with their home town clinician.

Much love to all <3 Thank you for stopping by and chatting with us.
